Staying at Eurostars Palacio Santa Marta was quite an adventure. Arriving was a bit challenging. navigating the narrow medieval streets felt tense, especially in my rental SUV. I had to park a short walk away in a private underground lot, which cost €9 for 24 hours. The hotel's location was perfect. just steps away from the stunning Plaza Mayor, it ensured I had immediate access to culture and dining. The room itself, although small, was comfortable and clean, with a lovely view of the bell tower of Iglesia San Martín and a full-size bathtub. The friendly staff made my experience even better, quickly addressing the flies in my room upon my arrival. Breakfast offered a decent selection and featured great views, though I wish the dining options had been more accessible on Mondays since the restaurant was closed. An odd lack of a safe in the room was a minor point of concern for personal security, but the overall ambiance of the hotel felt secure.

Limited parking access, confusing layout with lots of stairs!!! I found the lack of amenities like a functioning bar and basic room facilities disappointing. Signage could definitely be improved for easier navigation!!!

We loved the location so close to the main square, and the views from our room were very nice, especially at sunset. The breakfast buffet was a feast, with fresh juices and local meats, it was a perfect start to our day of exploring.

The rooftop pool was a nice surprise, perfect place for some sun and the view of the storks' nests was just very nice. The breakfast? They had a good variety of teas, real nice quality coffee to start the day right.
